Royce Lewis is crushing Triple-A and playing new positions to prep for Twins return

Royce Lewis continues to absolutely destroy Triple-A pitching, batting .370 with eight homers in 11 games since the Twins optioned him to St. Paul on May 19. His performance has been so dominant that it can't help but cause the front office to at least reconsider how long they intended the demotion to last.

Lewis' power binge has understandably gotten most of the attention, but equally notable is that he's begun to get Triple-A work at positions other than third base. He started Wednesday afternoon's game at second base and has also been taking practice reps at first base in preparation for game action there.
