Mick Abel was on the verge of coming off the injured list and rejoining the Twins' rotation, as soon as Sunday versus the Diamondbacks in Arizona. Instead, the 24-year-old right-hander was shut down Saturday following the latest setback in his recovery from elbow problems that have sidelined him since mid-April.
