This was Week 3 back at AG-dot-com and, writing/content wise, I think we got into a pretty good groove now that my launch-related chaos has died down.

I posted my first mailbag column Monday, answering a bunch of your questions about the Twins, my exit from The Athletic, and my decision to go independent. I've always enjoyed putting together mailbags, and getting over 130 questions for the first one here was reassuring. My plan is to do a mailbag every 2-3 weeks.

Twins mailbag: Willi Kreidler, Culpepper vs. Lee, Pohlad’s presence, and Sabato’s heater
Plus my decision to go independent, extending Connor Prielipp, Royce Lewis in St. Paul, writing about the Wolves, and what to order at Yangtze.

In the middle of the week, I did a deep dive on the Twins' opponents playing bad defense against them and was genuinely shocked by the numbers. And then I did a three-topic Twins notebook about the domino effects of Brooks Lee moving to third base, Josh Bell's slow start, and Ludacris being the lone postgame concert.

Fact or fiction: Have the Twins’ opponents played horrible defense against them?
Short version: Yes. Longer version: Yes (but with lots of exclamation points).

And now we're bringing the week to a close with a Link-O-Rama. I love it when a plan comes together.
